Launch

Launch is one of my first projects that I did at Windesheim, I started a new study called. I had the assignment of creating a lunchbox for a specific target group. During a brainstorm I decided on astronauts as my demographic. I made some cardboard prototypes and a few sketches to design my work and in the end I came up with this. The Launch lunchbox features a spring hinge that unfolds and reveals the inside, there is room for all the food that is needed in space and I am quite happy with the end result. In the end it has all the ingredients for a space meal and the spring hinge makes sure the lunchtray stays open in zero gravity.
