This semester I got an assignment from school to design a new flagship store for an existing company. The company of my choice was Youtube. I use Youtube everyday but I did not know much about the company. Youtube is a very wide platform with a lot of reach. Youtube is a platform that is very personal to its customers and that makes it that everyone experiences Youtube in its own way. Youtube is a difficult brand to create a flagship store for because the company does not really sell physical products, Youtube is more about the sharing of stories and information. Youtube does offer physical locations where people can learn more about videography and making a business out of it, these locations are called Youtube spaces. Within these locations there are three major values that are present: Learn create and connect, this philosophy I also implemented into my design.
